Financial Literacy for Real Life

Practical money management training designed for Taiwan's economic landscape

We started this program because too many people feel overwhelmed by personal finance. The jargon gets confusing. The advice seems disconnected from daily reality. Our approach is different—we focus on what actually works when you're managing household budgets, planning for education costs, or navigating Taiwan's unique financial environment.

How We Built This Program

Our journey from concept to comprehensive financial education platform

Early 2023

Research Phase

We interviewed over 200 families across Kaohsiung and Taipei. The pattern was clear—people wanted practical guidance, not academic theory. They needed help with real decisions like mortgage planning, insurance selection, and retirement timing.

Mid 2023

Curriculum Development

We worked with financial planners and everyday families to create content that bridges theory and practice. Each module went through testing with actual learners before we finalized it. The feedback shaped everything from pacing to examples.

Late 2024

Platform Launch

After months of refinement, we opened enrollment to our first cohort. The response taught us plenty—people appreciated the straightforward approach and Taiwan-specific content. We kept adjusting based on what worked in practice.

Early 2025

Expanded Resources

We added calculators, comparison tools, and scenario planners based on learner requests. The goal was always making complex decisions more manageable. These tools help people run the numbers for their specific situations.

September 2025

Next Cohort Opens

Our autumn program begins with updated content reflecting recent changes in Taiwan's financial landscape. We're keeping what works while incorporating new case studies and practical exercises. Enrollment opens in June for the September start.

Our Teaching Approach

Most financial education falls into two traps—it's either too simple to be useful or too complex to follow. We aim for the middle ground where learning actually happens.

Each concept gets introduced with a real scenario. You'll work through calculations yourself, not just watch someone else do them. The exercises use actual financial products available in Taiwan, so what you practice directly applies to your decisions.

Context-Based Learning

We don't teach budgeting in isolation. You'll learn it while planning for specific goals—maybe saving for a down payment or managing irregular income. The context makes the concepts stick better and shows how different financial topics connect.
